Robert Troxler

CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Rob is serving his 2nd term with the District. Mr. Troxler served as a Board Member from 2001 until 2003 when he resigned his position with the Board to pursue employment as the District's O&M. Mr. Troxler returned to the Board in December of 2006 filling a vacancy due to term expiration. His term will expire in December of 2010. Mr. Troxler is employed as a Grade 3 Treatment Plant Operator in La Paz County.

Walter Bunge

VICE-CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Walt is serving his 1st 4 year term with the District. Walt was nominated to the Board of Directors as a Director following the resignation of a previous Board Member. His term will expire in December of 2008. Mr. Bunge is currently enjoying retirement on the Colorado River.

Gary Hansen

TREASURER OF THE BOARD

Gary is serving his 1st 4 year term with the District. Gary was nominated to the Board of Directors as the Treasurer in 2003. His term will expire in December of 2008. Mr. Hansen is employed as a Water Resources Director and holds a college degree and has studied law.

Gary Svider

SECRETARY OF THE BOARD

Gary is serving his 1st term with the District. Mr. Svider is filling a vacancy ocurring from term expiration. His term will expire in December of 2010. Mr. Svider is a local business owner and has served on HOA Boards.

William Risen

DIRECTOR

Bill is serving his 1st term with the District. Mr. Risen was appointed to the Board of Directors on March 18, 2008 and is filling a vacancy ocurring from the prior BSD Chairman's resignation. His term will expire in December of 2008. Mr. Risen is a retired California Police Officer and is currently working for the Parker Police Department. He is a Member of the Parker Lions Club & MD-21 Lions Zone Chairman. Mr. Risen is an active participant in the La Paz County Community with numerous volunteer services & contributions. He brings to the BSD Board experience as a past Member & Officer of a local HOA Board, and has been responsible for Multi-Million dollar budgets, grants & assets.

Buckskin Sanitary District will have 3 vacant seats on their Board of Directors effective December 2008. Seats to the Board of Directors is an elected position.

Interested District Residents may obtain an Elections Package from the La Paz County Elections Department beginning Monday, April 7, 2008. Their office is located at 1108 Joshua Avenue in Parker & their phone number is 669-6115. All completed election packets will need to be returned to the La Paz County Elections Department between the dates of July 7, 2008 and August 6, 2008 to be included on the November 2008 ballot. This is an elected, volunteer position with a 4 year term. Any District or Board related questions may be referred to District Manager Doug Konkright at (928) 667-7197 or to any of the existing BSD Board Members.
